On Saturday, June 9th, the WAG and Plug In ICA, are hosting an art talk for the exhibition SakKijajuk as well as a launch party for the Summer 2018 Issue “Translation” of Canadian Art Magazine.

Join Lindsay Nixon, Indigenous Editor-at-Large at Canadian Art, and Jaimie Isaac, curator, Indigenous and contemporary at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, for an informal conversation with Banff/Calgary-based Inuvialuit artist and curator Jade Nasogaluak Carpenter and Newfoundland and Labrador-based Inuit silversmith and sculptor Michael Massie in the recently opened exhibition SakKijajuk at the WAG.
