Professor Oliver Botar at the Frascari Symposium III

This past Saturday, April 22nd, along with Prof. Federica Goffi and Prof. Donald Kunze, Prof. Oliver Botar gave a keynote at the Third Frascari Symposium, an international conference held at the Washington Alexandria Architecture Center of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Alexandria, Virgina, a suburb of Washington, DC.

The theme of the Symposium was “Ceilings and Dreams: The Architecture of Levity.” Prof. Botar gave a presentation on “Sensory Derangement or Training the Senses for Modernity: The Art of Ilinx and the European Avant-Garde.”
