Have you checked out the Events Calendar lately? The calendar is a great way to see what else is going on across campus. Here are three interesting choices on the horizon:

From March 20 to 31, the Gallery of Student Art plays host to a new exhibition, Celebrating Abilities. The eclectic mix of art includes photographs, sculptures, sketches, paintings, and Braille by students registered with Student Accessibility Services.

This Friday and Saturday, stop by the Manitoba Anthropology Students’ Conference in 307 Tier Building. Registration is required, but the conference is free for students.

This weekend, check out a School of Music performance: Chamber, Percussion, Choral, and Wind Performances! Highlight: On Friday at 7:30 pm, it’s a Percussion Dance Party! celebrating the end of the “Kitchen Percussion Studio.” Directed by Victoria Sparks, the Percussion Ensemble grooves with Latin dance sounds, and music by The Beatles and Michael Jackson. Free admission. Location: the Great Hall in University College.
