Once again, Service Canada will be on campus in January 2017 to issue SIN’s to qualifying students and workers.

Get your Social Insurance Number on campus!
Students can attend either session. Visit the website for times and locations: umanitoba.ca/international/events.
Students will be seen on a drop-in basis (first come, first served). Service Canada cannot guarantee that all applicants will be able to obtain their Social Insurance Numbers at the session.
Dates: Wednesday, January 4, 2017 & Wednesday, January 18, 2017
Location: Room 526 University Centre (both days)
Time: 9am-3:30pm (both days)
Students coming to the session must bring the following documents:
If you DO NOT have a valid Work Permit:
• U of M student card
• Study permit issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) that states the permit holder “may accept
employment” or “may work” in Canada.
NOTE: If your Study Permit does not contain either of these
statements, you must bring a study permit and a “confirmation to
work off -campus” letter issued by IRCC (previously called Citizenship
and Immigration Canada – CIC) prior to February 6, 2015.
If you have a valid Work Permit:
• Work Permit issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship
• U of M student card (if you are a student)
