Sukkahville Design Competition

Kehilla Residential Programme is pleased to announce and encourages you to participate in the fourth annual Sukkahville Design Competition. Entrants will be challenged to reimagine the “Sukkah”, the temporary shelter or dwelling that is traditionally built during the Jewish Festival of Sukkot. The Sukkahville Design Competition reflects Kehilla Residential Programme’s mission to champion new initiatives which increase awareness of affordable housing in the Greater Toronto Area. Eight innovative designs from the competition phase will be selected by a committee of distinguished judges, including Ken Greenberg and the City of Toronto’s Chief Planner, Jennifer Keesmaat. Designs will be constructed in conjunction with Sukkot, and will be displayed from October 14th to October 15th 2014 at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto.
